The selected EMC category ensures that the drive fulfills the
EMC-related installation requirements according to EN/IEC 61800/3. The
offering covers variants compliant to domestic installations (=C1 or
C2), for use in industrial networks (= C3 or C2) and without dedicated
EMC filters (=C4). Together with the filter also EMC-compliant
installation has to be ensured and in addition a maximum motor cable
length that may not be suceeded. The dedicated values for that max.
length depends on the hardware variant as well as the specific current
ratings and varies between 50 and 300 meters. More details in related
