The VLT® OneGearDrive comes in two versions: the OneGearDrive Standard for use in dry and wet production areas and the OneGearDrive Hygienic for use in wet areas, areas with high cleaning intensity and aseptic and clean room production areas.

The VLT® OneGearDrive Hygienic is the ideal choice for any application where hygiene is especially important. It complies with the requirements for best cleaning and hygienic design – with certification according to EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group).
The VLT® OneGearDrive Hygienic is resistant to detergents and disinfectants (pH 2–12).
IPA certified: The VLT® OneGearDrive Hygienic is certified as usable for clean rooms and aseptic filling by IPA (Fraunhofer institute) according to the dedicated “Air Cleanliness Classification“ DIN EN ISO 14644-1.

The VLT® OneGearDrive comes by default without resolver and operates in open loop with a VLT® Decentral Drive FCD 302 or AutomationDrive FC 302.

Connection with CleanConnect® technology. Allows safe connection in wet areas, fast replacement, and high cleanability. The proven stainless steel plug-and-socket connector simplifies replacement during maintenance.
This also allows the replacement to be performed by a mechanical service technician alone, without the assistance of an electrician:
- Connector plug for motor installed.
- Connector included in the delivery.
- No cable included in the delivery. The cable has to crimped with crimp tool set from Danfoss from the VLTshop.

Connection with CleanConnect® technology. Allows safe connection in wet areas, fast replacement, and high cleanability. The proven stainless steel plug-and-socket connector simplifies replacement during maintenance.

Lubricant filling level for a horizontal mounting position on a horizontal shaft. The connection is on the top or the bottom of the VLT® OneGearDrive.

The VLT® OneGearDrive with aseptic paint is resistant to detergents and disinfectants (pH 2–12). It complies with the requirements for best cleaning.

The VLT® OneGearDrive standard has a RAL 9010 paint finish by default. Optionally any aseptic paint finish can be configured.

Default paint finish in white, RAL 9010. Required for EHEDG conformity.

Customized paint finish in blue, RAL 5010. For applications with non-EHEDG requirements only.

Lubricant filling with food grade oil (H1).

Lubricant filling with standard oil.

Default configuration does not include a brake. Consider that inclining conveyors can move if the OGD is not operating.

Optional brake supports park brake duty on conveyors. The brake option includes an already connected rectifier and accepts external 400 V AC supply. Alternatively it can be used with 180 V DC supply from a VLT® Decentral Drive FCD 302. This brake option does not support hoisting operations.
