De VLT Decentral Drive FCD 302 is een complete frequentieregelaar dieontworpen is voor decentrale montage. Hij kan worden gemonteerd op demachine/wand in de buurt van de motor, dan wel direct op de motor. Doorhet decentrale ontwerp zijn minder centrale bedieningspanelen vereist enzijn ruimtevergende motorbesturingskasten overbodig. Bovendien is eraanzienlijk minder bedrading met lange, afgeschermde motorkabels nodig.
