VLT® Decentral Servo Drive DSD 520 extends the decentral servo drive concept in the Danfoss VLT® FlexMotion™ portfolio. The DSD 520 supports a wide range of feedback encoders, and the open system architecture means you can connect to the permanent magnet motor of your choice. Rated voltage is 565 – 680 V DC and rated current 4.5 A.
Communicate over the real-time fieldbus systems EtherCAT, POWERLINK and PROFINET IRT with native integration into the corresponding automation environments. Choose the factory option VLT® FlexSafety™, for highly demanding functional safety applications. SIL3 (IEC 61508), PLe / CAT3 (ISO 13849) is achievable for PROFIsafe and FSoE, optionally usable with 2x safe DI (double channel) and 2x safe DO (double channel) for fieldbus-independent functions.
